The Ram 1500 REV is an upcoming range-extended light-duty full-size pickup truck to be produced by Ram Trucks and is based on the fifth-generation Ram 1500. It was announced by Ram Trucks in November 2023. Production was originally planned to start in early 2024, but was delayed to late 2026.One of the biggest talking points for the 2027 Ram 1500 REV is its manufacturer-estimated range of up to 690 miles under ideal conditions. Ram says this impressive number comes from a setup that combines electric drive with an onboard generator system, helping reduce the need for frequent charging during longer trips.
