The Jeep Avenger is dinky even by small SUV standards so it’s not the most practical car in the class. Still, space in the front is impressive and there’s lots of head and leg room so two six-footers can get comfortable easily. This is a city-friendly SUV with bundles of character that’s pretty good value for money compared with alternatives. If you don’t need to carry people in the back seats, and don’t need a roomy boot, it’s well worth considering.
