Plug in the NEMA 14-50P plug from the EV Charger into the receptacle outlet. Turn on the breaker and ensure that the power light on the front of the EV Charger is illuminated. First connect one end of the charging cable to the charging station and then the other to your EV. You will often find the cable already attached to the charging station, while many slower AC chargers require BYO cable. A successful connection will usually make a ‘locking’ sound.
