Can I still use Entune?
Toyota Entune™ technology is no longer available as of December 2020 but that doesn’t mean you lose access to all of its features. The new Toyota app features connected services similar to Toyota Entune™ that many models from 2010 and up can utilize. The Toyota Entune app was discontinued and replaced with Toyota Safety Sense™ to simplify all the features available on the original application. Additionally, new Toyota models are equipped with Toyota Safety Sense™, which builds upon all the features found on Toyota Entune™.
What is the Enel X Way app?
The Enel X Way mobile app, which allows you to manage all your electric car or hybrid car charging wherever you are, gets a makeover and becomes Enel On Your Way. Charging your electric car is made easy with Enel On Your Way. JuiceBox chargers will stop working. As of October 11, Enel X Way software will be discontinued, and commercial JuiceBox charging stations will lose all functionality. Residential charging stations will only retain the ability to charge vehicles but will lose all smart charging functions.The JuiceBox app and connectivity features worked for a few months because of an agreement between the current software operator and B. Riley Advisory Services, the third-party firm handling the dissolution of Enel X Way’s North American business. But the app stopped working for most users in July 2025.Here’s what you need to know: • Residential charging hardware (JuiceBox) will maintain the physical operating ability to charge vehicles. All Enel X Way software will be discontinued. Commercial charging stations will lose functionality in the absence of software continuity.

In 2023, support for Entune phone app was discontinued, and Entune features were integrated into the Toyota phone app. The services provided in the app for Entune would be fully discontinued by Toyota on October 30, 2023.
