Is JuiceBox charger being discontinued?
JuiceBox chargers will stop working. As of October 11, Enel X Way software will be discontinued, and commercial JuiceBox charging stations will lose all functionality. Residential charging stations will only retain the ability to charge vehicles but will lose all smart charging functions. On October 2, 2024, Enel X Way announced that it is shutting down its North American business, with its services going offline on October 11. This means: Commercial JuiceBox Chargers: These will completely lose functionality, no longer able to serve EV drivers or integrate with any software.
Is JuiceBox still in business?
While JuiceBox products will continue to operate with software connectivity after October 11, 2024, customer service will not be available during this interim period. The third-party firm will manage claims and communication with stakeholders after October 11, 2024. Please visit the claims information page. If data connectivity is lost the JuiceBox will not enter a fail-safe mode, the JuiceBox will continue to operate/charge at the selected current value previously set within JuiceNet dashboard or the JuicePass App.
Do JuiceBox chargers still work?
