Is a Tesla Model 3 performance faster than a BMW M3?
After 15 minutes of continuous driving, the BMW M3 Competition was over 5,000 feet ahead of the Tesla Model 3 Performance, so there’s still work to be done. In a single-lap shootout, the M3 was also quicker than the Model 3, but by less than two seconds, with the EV’s biggest drawback being its tires. The Tesla is quicker off the line and more practical, but the BMW is more fun to drive and feels better built inside. A big part of the decision will come down to whether or not you’re ready to switch to an EV.
