Do I need an app to use Pod Point?
Creating a Pod Point account allows you to access and use our public charging network. After downloading the Pod Point App, you can log in to an existing account or sign up for a new one. To add credit your account balance, first navigate to the Account tab located in the bottom right corner of the app. Tap the button and you’ll be given the option to add a payment card or use Google Pay or Apple Pay.Charge fast and rapid at thousands of charging bays nationwide on the Pod Point Network. Built for your smartphone, download our App for free, with no membership fees or subscriptions to access our Network. Do I need the Pod Point app?
Zap-Map, PodPoint plus VendElectric and bpPulse or Shell Recharge for those that plan to regularly rapid charge on the go. A rapid charger is rated at 50kw and can zap your battery with 80% charge in just 40 minutes, but homes cannot facilitate a rapid charger due to the amount of power they require. The vast majority of EV Rapid Chargers are located at service stations, rest stops and other public locations.
Is Pod Point profitable?
Pod Point operates one of the largest charging networks in the UK, with over 250,000 charging points deployed across homes, workplaces, and public spaces.
