What is the range of the BMW i3 REx?
In the standard Comfort mode the i3 delivers a range between 130 and 160 km (80 and 100 mi) in everyday driving conditions, while the i3 REx delivers between 260 and 290 km (160 and 180 mi). Officially, the post-2019 and more powerful i3s can manage 175 miles while the regular i3 can do 181 miles. However, BMW says 160 miles is more realistic, and our own real range tests seem to bear this out. Our recent real-range test of a ten-year-old i3 produced a range of just 64 miles.
