Superbly insulated, very luxurious on the inside, blessed with a comfy rear seat and a fair amount of agility in the city (due to the rear-wheel steering), the EQS SUV is a much more accomplished luxury EV than the EQS sedan. We recommend thinking of the EQA as the entry-point to electric Mercedes SUVs. It’s a premium car with plenty of tech and impressive mile range. The bigger, more grown-up EQC feels the more refined drive with extra power, though its range isn’t as strong because of this.The EQS is quicker (and quieter) in every way than the S 350d, but for a fun time, it’s the comparatively noisy diesel, RWD Merc that wins my vote.
