Can a Citroen Ami go on the motorway?

It’s not really a practical car, the Ami, but it’s OK for small shopping trips or urban school runs. Specifically urban school runs, though. Technically, you could drive an Ami on the motorway, but with a 28mph top speed it’s going to be pretty scary. Technically, the Citroen Ami is a quadricycle. That means it can be driven without a full driving licence, but neither does it have to go through the same stringent safety tests as an actual car.As a quadricycle it is limited to 45 km/h (28 mph). The Ami can be used for carsharing in the Free2Move network of Groupe PSA, rented or purchased, on the internet or in stores Fnac and Darty with which Citroën has concluded a partnership for the exhibition, sale or rental of the vehicle from 30 March 2020.
