Can I still use my JuiceBox charger?
Juicebox chargers will stop working. As of october 11, enel x way software will be discontinued, and commercial juicebox charging stations will lose all functionality. Residential charging stations will only retain the ability to charge vehicles but will lose all smart charging functions. The juicebox app and connectivity features worked for a few months because of an agreement between the current software operator and b. riley advisory services, the third-party firm handling the dissolution of enel x way’s north american business. But the app stopped working for most users in july 2025.
Why is my JuiceBox charger not working?
This could be due to a legitimate reason, such as water in your charge cable or EV charge port, a cut or fray in your wiring (from J1772 charge cable to supply-side wiring), or an obstacle in way of your charge plug. Inadequate Power Supply or Overloaded Circuit One of the primary causes of a malfunctioning Home EV Charger is insufficient power availability or an overloaded circuit. EV chargers require dedicated electrical infrastructure to function correctly.Charging Cable or Connector Damage Over time, the connector can collect dust or dirt, the cable can fray, or the pins can bend slightly. Any of these issues can stop your EV from charging. Quick check: Inspect the cable and connector closely. Look for cracks, fraying, or debris inside the plug.EV batteries are designed to be used regularly, and long periods of inactivity can cause a gradual loss of charge, known as self-discharge. If the charge level drops too low, the battery could enter a deep discharge state, which can shorten its lifespan or, in some cases, cause irreversible damage.
How to connect to JuiceBox?
Connect to Wi-Fi Unplug the JuiceBox, then plug it back in. Open the Wi-Fi settings on your personal computer. Connect to the “JuiceBox-###” or “JuiceNet-###” Wi-Fi network using the password “GoElectric” (case-sensitive). Unplug JuiceBox for 30 mins to 1 hour. While unit is unplugged, please also power circuit breaker off and on. If issue persists, please contact Support.Reboot the JuiceBox charger by turning off the power for 30 seconds. Power it back on. The JuiceBox LED will begin flashing blue within 90 seconds.Unplug the JuiceBox, then plug it back in. If you have a hardwired JuiceBox you will need to flip its circuit breaker, wait 20 seconds, and flip the circuit breaker back on. Note: The following steps must be completed within 2 minutes of plugging in or restoring power to the JuiceBox.If data connectivity is lost the JuiceBox will not enter a fail-safe mode, the JuiceBox will continue to operate/charge at the selected current value previously set within JuiceNet dashboard or the JuicePass App.
